Nepal is famous not only for tekking, rafting, cultural tours but also for many adventurous sports and bungee jumping is one of them. Bungee jumping is registered in the Top 10 of the highest sports in the world. The Bhote Koshi spot is 500 feet (160m!) high above the river making it very challenging. The jumps are carried out by “The Last resort” (what’s in a name:)), which opened in 1999, and some of the most experienced Western Jump Masters are working there and they are well known for the best safety precautions.
It takes us a 3 hours from Kathmandu to reach the jump spot and is located 15km before of the Nepal/Tibet border at Barahbise. The jump takes place on a 166 m long steel bridge over the river.
Every day
Persons below 18 years of age need the consent of their parent or guardian, who is in attendance at the site.
A 3 hrs Drive to the ‘Last Resort’ near the Tibetan border. Here the jump will take place around noon. We leave early in the morning and return in the afternoon in Kathmandu.
