A trekking peak is a mountain under 7,000 metres. Most of the higher peaks require an ice axe and crampons to climb and summit. You can hire safe and high quality materials at Himalayandreamteam. For every mountain (area) there are different climbing permits costs for one to four members, an additional fee in USD is charged for each for the next four members. Trekking Peaks require a qualified Himalayandreamteam climbing guide, and permits and deposits to cover camp waste disposal.
There are 33 trekking peaks in total but the two most popular peaks are:
- Island Peak Trek – The Island Peak trek in the Khumbu region takes in some of the most spectacular scenery in the Himalayas.
